Ch. vs. Dis. !
Posted : 17 years, 7 months ago on 22 April 2007 08:53 (A review of Fight Club)I walked away from this movie both, challenged and greatly disturbed. The utter feeling of hopelessness that these characters felt and the need to follow a charismatic leader was a frustrating feeling for me. Our Savior stands before us wanting to fill our every need and to take away every feeling of hopelessness that fills the lives of today's generation. The challenge that I felt was one of a desperate need to spread HIS love to everyone. The film making qualities were awesome and it was probably one of the best made movies that I have ever seen. Norton and Pitt gave phenomenal performances, as well!

Super Hero :P
Posted : 17 years, 7 months ago on 22 April 2007 08:50 (A review of Batman Begins)…the best Batman movie to date. The script is first rate and actually helps to give a plausible reason behind the villian’s mad scheme to destroy Gotham City. The cast has some of Hollywood’s best supporting actors. Casting such movie heavyweights as Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, and Gary Oldman only adds to the film’s richness. Not to be overlooked is the film’s musical score, arguably the best movie soundtrack of 2005. Parental advisory: Batman Begins is violent, dark, realistic, and could be terrifying to a small child or an easily shaken pre-teen.

Posted : 17 years, 7 months ago on 21 April 2007 11:00 (A review of Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones)Prince of Persia is one of the best series I'ved played besides Halo and it fits me just perfect because I've always been into Persia and learning about it and it's mysterious hanging gardens that noones knows what it really looked liked back then. Other than that I love the Prince of Persia series they are good games to play. Too bad they don't have anymore games that go with the original storyline it'd be awesome to have a game for the PS3. these 3 games are absolutely great games to sit down and play for hours and hours. My favorite of the 3 is Warrior Within simply because it has more adventure in it than the Two Thrones and Sands of Time. But all 3 are still kick ass games specially since like Halo 2 and 3 Prince of Persia 2 and 3 are sequals to the game of its year.

Not bad!
Posted : 17 years, 7 months ago on 21 April 2007 10:55 (A review of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City)Vice City takes place in the 80s' with your main character as Tommy Vercetti who worked for the Mafia. After 15 years of jail, Tommy comes out of jail and is free. Vice City has a killer soundtrack and probably The Best soundtrack in the whole series. The story is mainly about getting his friend's money back which he lost.
In Vice City you can do alot of things like going on an boat, bikes or the normal cars. There are not many aircraft vehicles in Vice City as they had in San Andreas but it is still great. Vice City is an very beautiful and gorgeous place out of all the GTA's IMO, when it's night time, the light's in Vice City start up!
Vice City's graphic's might not be as good as San Andrea's but I thought they were a bit polished then the third part of the series. I also liked one more thing in Vice City which you could not do in either GTA III or San Andreas, and that is robbing an ammu-nation or some kind of shop.
Vice City features alot of fun things to do, oddjobs like doing Vigilante missions, ambulance missions, taxi driver missions or pizza delivery missions. There are alot of fun thing's to do in Vice City!
The hand-to-hand combat in Vice City is pretty much simple, just throwing a few punch's 'n' kick's here and there. The "Gun-Fighting" is also pretty simple but there are a hell alot of weapons in this game. The Replay Value is alot, a person can spend month's playing this game even after finishing it. There are just so many side-mission's and oddjob's to do that you cannot get enough of the game. You also unlock 'Outfit's' throughout the game for your character, Outfit's like the Street Outfit (normal outfit), Mr.Vercetti outfit and alot more.
Overall, I would definetely recommend this game to any GTA fan. It is a must play and a must-buy!

wonderwall..
Posted : 17 years, 7 months ago on 20 April 2007 10:08 (A review of Wonderwall )This song is so special..cuz it totally relates of a guys feeling towards a girl he is hard to achieve..but luks onto..and never looses hope..wider
"Maybe your gonna be the one that saves me/and after all/you're my wonderwall." This stirring and eerily effective chorus gave Oasis the perfect means to strike a passionate chord with millions of listeners in 1995. Their first single released from their sophomore release What's the Story Morning Glory, "Wonderwall" emerged as a British rock anthem resonating with hope for the band's ever-expanding fan base. "Round Are Way" is a brilliantly strung melody with catchy guitar riffs by guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher, scintillating vocal presence by Liam Gallagher, and an intense cloud of breathless brass and harmonica work. The third track, "Swamp Song," is Oasis' sole instrumental piece, an intense four-minute block of sterling distortion-laden guitar and soaring harmonica chants by guest mate Paul Weller. The very ending is loud and raucous, a blend of heavy rock & roll noise that sincerely identifies the group's overconfident and reckless image at times. However, the band turns full circle during the final track, proving to their ever-observant critics and fans that they can create a highly imaginative tune, without revved up and excess wattage, but instead with a more solemn approach. The endearing and eloquently spun gem, "The Masterplan," is a tune packed with raw emotion, enlightening and thought-provoking lyrics, and an emotionally stirring string arrangement. Reaching a vitally high level in musicianship, "The Masterplan" helped the band discover an even broader interest group and is certainly one of Oasis' finest achievements. exp:

Pretty good :)
Posted : 17 years, 7 months ago on 20 April 2007 09:54 (A review of Arrested Development )Arrested Development has that pure genius quality where the jokes are coming so fast and there is so many that you can watch it over 5 more times and catch another joke every time. The humor is quite often dry, but perfectly timed and brilliantly filmed all of the camera angles work well, and the narrator of Ron Howard is the icing on when awesome cake. Its just about the best show on television, SO WATCH IT DANGIT!

hmmm,
Posted : 17 years, 7 months ago on 20 April 2007 09:48 (A review of Ghost Rider)The film seems to say it wants to be about standing against evil and rooting for second chances—with Johnny seeking any opportunity to make up for the bad choices of his past. But cursory (and perverse) nods to God only serve to remind us of how ridiculous and ugly the ghost rider's world is. Second chances come to those who fight for them, and when push comes to shove, only the devil's power is strong enough to defeat evil.

Amazing movie !
Posted : 17 years, 7 months ago on 20 April 2007 09:40 (A review of 300)Saw the midnight showing, gotta say that it's the best action/epic since Braveheart. Gladiator was more of a character story, but I really liked this even more than Gladiator as a movie. The action scenes were epic and absolutely gorgeous, with loooooooong single-take cuts that really amp up the action in slow-motion.
The cinematography was amazing. Battle scenes the like of which I have not seen on the screen since "Private Ryan".Butler commands the screen in a way I have seldom seen, he deserves at least some consideration for an Oscar. And folks, this was the "warrior ethos" on display. Its what we in the USMC try to instill in our Marines. I've never seen it put better than the words these players speak, and the actions they perform. It tells you "why" we, who volunteer to fight, are what we are, even thousands of years later. All I can say is "Wow". Go see it. You will be entertained! I know I'm going back to see it again, and (if rumours are true) on the IMAX screen if possible.
Unfortunately, the only negative point of this movie is that they made it so different and untrue because of showing the Persian Empire and Xerxes like monsters (Persian Empire and Xerxes were Heroes too), and it lost all the History points. I prepared to watch a movie closer to the History style, and characters should be based on their true appearance (I'm sure Xerxes wasn't that Ugly, and he had beard).
Except the negetive point, they made an amazing movie, and you'll love it. Hope everyone enjoys it.
